If there is already a thread on this topic please let me know so i can delete this one. Any plans for a phone app? Or at least a mobile site. Sometimes i upload pics from my GS3 and it would be easier to have an android app for it. If anything like this is in the works please tell me. I have one request if such an app will be made. PLEASE NO ADS IN IT. I will gladly pay for the app if no ads are in it. Oh and besides the fact of it being easier for people it would really help kill some time in my AP government class :)

Can we get an app please. NOT A MOBILE SITE. i really hate when websites try recognising you're on a mobile device/tablet and send you to a different site. It's almost causing me to ditch DuPont Registry because of that.

I think it'd be totally cool to have an app. One thing that would be cool would be a real-time spotter alert kind of thing, where you could tell people about a certain car at a certain place at a certain time (like, "Ferrari 458 spotted on Whatever Street, Some City at 12:00"). That'd be pretty useful, especially during car week.

Takes a lot of time and money to build an app (a good, solid app). Doubt any of you would be willing to offer your programming services/donations to the project.

I post pics from my mobile to ES without upload them to my PC. ES on phone looks same like a normal version. Only when you have posted pics, writes pictures will be seen for few hours. I don't know,how it looks on the normal ES. The only one different is a size,mobile version is smaller.

I'd do it if I got paid :)

There has been at least one post on this before. I think it's a good idea if you could find someone that was willing and able to make it. The only problem would be that maybe people would kind of treat the site like Instagram and post a bunch of bad cell phone photos. Maybe not though.

Im afraid of people upoading cr*ppy shots but i think most people on here wouldnt. Does anyone know how to program android/ios apps?

Building an app for ES would probably need to be done by the owners, you'd need access to the site, plus a knowing of how its built. You'd have to buy the apple dev. account and buy databases as well (over 200$). A mobile site would be allot cheaper option for the site, and easier as well, but as far as knowing how to build an app/mobile site I could do it, I own a site that builds website and apps for people/companies, probably couldn't do it for cheap though, it would take allot of time.

*Edit: Making an app the shows the spots wouldn't be difficult, its the commenting and liking and uploading etc that would be harder.
