A simple one. The Jaguar XJ220 uses the same engine as an MG Metro 6R4.

The door mirrors on a Jaguar XJ220 are from a Citroen CX

The Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VT uses the exact same round taillights as a Pagani Zonda, SSC Ultimate Aero, Saleen S7, and the Spyker C8.

The "new car smell" is composed of over 50 volatile organic compounds.

Hitler, while in prison, wrote to a Mercedes dealership begging for a car loan.

Up to 19 girls can be crammed into a smart car.

The average car has 30,000 parts.

75% of cars that Rolls Royce has ever produced are still on the road today.

There is no such thing as a 1983 Chevy Corvette.

I thought it was 84. I have a biik that says "if you see a 1984 Corvette, it's a fake"

1. The word Volvo means "I roll" in Latin.

2. Enzo Ferrari said the Jaguar E-Type was the most beautiful non-Ferrari ever.

3. Henry Ford built his first vehicle in a shed and couldn't get it out, so he had to destroy the shed. Luckily, the car wasn't destroyed.

4. The word Prius means "before" in Latin.

5. Bertone no longer exists, as they ran out of money and closed last July

6. Ferruccio Lamborghini built trackers for 15 years before he founded Lamborghini in 1963.

7. Self-driving cars will be on the road by 2025.

8. Lamborghini's founder drove a 250 and found problems with the clutch, so he complained to Enzo Ferrari. When Ferrari heard this, he said, "Go back to building tractors." That set off Ferruccio, so he quit building tractors. Thus, the Ferrari/Lamborghini rivalry was born.

Nissan borrowed some of the GT-Rs parts from Lotus, but they don't make it public because they don't like using parts form other companies.

No, it's the '83 production Corvette that doesn't exist. Read this:

Audi just put a self-driving car on the road this week, and it has been experimented with several times before, too.

I meant for the mainstream, but yes they have been experimenting.

Still, no one actually knows when they become "mainstream".

You are right, but analysts predict that they will be mainstream by 2025. I am still a bit skeptical of this, but they usually aren't wrong.
