Based on its overall future and the Model X, do you think the stock will continue to go up? Do you think it Would be a good investment?

Lol almost spilled my tea I laughed so hard. I would think that the "unpopular opinions" thread would've dissuaded you from asking the community for investment advice. Does the community look like investment bankers/financial wizards? Nope, most people want 50 year old supercars for when they get their first car in senior year of high school in 4-5 years.

Here's a thread where people actually interested in (though they may/may not be educated/experienced in) investing discuss Tesla stock: http://www.reddit.com/r/investing/comments/1bxvv7/tesla_discussion/

All that said, it's a cr*p shoot.

Investing in Tesla is a cr*p shoot? I understand that no one is an expert but I still want to hear some pinions.

This really isn't the place to go to find information like that. Talk to investors or stock brokers or someone who actually knows fully what they're talking about. I'm not sure if any are on here, but still.

The time to invest in Tesla was 6 months ago. Now it's probably over hyped.

Haha this is funny, I am writing a paper for my business class on Tesla and their relations to stocks. I read an article that, basically states it is all hype right now, soon the stock prices will go back down. But onto better news, you can own a Porsche stock for only $9!

It's interesting because, I wonder whether it really is over-hyped or with all the business they're doing they will keep it up. Who knows what the Model X will bring?

It seems a bit unpractical to say the least.

All you kids talking about how your first cars are gonna be exotic or brand new sports car (for lack of a better term) are not smart. Insurance on that thing will absolutely destroy you.
