You seem to think everyone is harassing you. I think Conservatives are better than many others, as it is my opinion. One of my friends and I always call each other by our views. I call him a stupid liberal, he calls me a capitalist pig. Neither of us care.

And then, EVERYBODY joins in on calling me a democrap. This is why I am really considering leaving. I am so sick of getting harassed by everybody. On the Internet, you cannot tell their tone of voice, so how would you know if someone is saying it to be mean, or as a joke?

Dont say i'm attacking you on this comment, because i'm not. But what you call harassment, everyone else calls a joke. There are many democrats on this website but nobody else is taking offense to that type of comment because it wasn't said as an insult.

Welcome to the internet, Jason. For the rest of your life, anything you say on here involving politics will be scrutinized and you will be mocked and called things and hated. There is never going to be a time where you say something on the internet and EVERYONE agrees. If the Tumblr community (very liberal) were on this site and saw this thread, they'd be overwhelmingly supporting you and people like Nick and I and every other conservative would be receiving equivalent hate for our views. It's just the way the internet is. Got to have thick skin. Just think, what you get called here is nothing compared to how people mock/threaten those who discuss politics for a living (politicians).
