Some friends of ours "apparently" bought a Kia Optima for 78k and traded in a perfect Audi A6 for it. So I'm wondering, do you know anyone who had a good car(s) and replaced it with something cr*ppy?

The difference in performance is what made it disappointing to me.

I just built a Kia Optima on their website, and the highest I could make it go is $36,700.

Yeah I was thinking 78k is way to much.

An Optima?

They usually go for high 20k, to low 30k

I had a cousin I didn't know very well was looking into trading his Callaway Corvette C6 for a BMW 6 series some years ago.
