Here's what I did in response... I work all day with computers and am very knowledgeable in programming. I purposely and easily wrote a script file that created fake accounts just to mess with the rude Admins. Contrary to what you may think, with this script it literally takes about 10 seconds of your time to create all the accounts, just use ONE fake email address each time. Then simply delete the account. And since I am pretty good with computers, I created a script that automated this process. Almost instantaneously. I guess you can call it a big F/U to the Admins. By the way, only 96 accounts? I'm sure my script created much more than that. I used to ask myself "When are these genius Admins going to figure it out?". Ask yourself this: Why would I do this AND delete my own account with 635 uploads for no reason at all?? Like I said, this site needed a change. This was never about boosting ratings. It was about EXPLOITING the weakness of this site. By the way, these Admins can figure out Internet Protocol addresses but can't figure out how to listen to their users to easily improve the site?

This is more like a big F/U to every person on the site.

This is some of the most ridiculous bullshit I've ever read on this site, and trust me, I've heard a lot. I'm guessing you're also going to tell me that your "scripting" allowed each and every one of fake accounts to 'like' COUNTLESS pictures on your profile?

You created 96 accounts manually because you couldn't handle the fact that your photos weren't building your rating. It's the sad, sad truth. And when we caught you, it didn't surprise us that you would do something like this.

Even if you were to create a script (give it up, you didn't), it would take you a hell of a long time to write a program to create almost 100 accounts, select 'like' on myriads of pictures, and then have your program delete the account and start all over.

Either way, that's BS and you take this site way too seriously. If you care so much about your rating to go through all of the hassle to create 96 individual profiles, you seriously need to reorganize your priorities.

Alright. If he did it or not honestly doesn't matter. It was in the past and we can't change that, only move forwards. And let's move fowards in a positive way.take this as a learning experience. As for Arts' comment, I understand where he is coming from when he talks about the Lamborghini / Ferrari being featured over a good picture of a BMW. I think all shots should be equally recognized and the ones that are really good (As voted on by the SPOTTERS), it can be in a special page of really nice / high rated photos. This would be a cool accomplishment for any spotter to have thier picture of a BMW on the same page and rated equally as a Ferrari taken by another spotter. And also consiter depending on the area the spotter is from, they might not be able to see a featured car which would alter a spotters rating. Anyways, based on this, a rating or maybe even multiple ratings (for instance: highest rated spotters for shots in the special page / spotter with the most unique picture ect.) would not be for jealousy but friendly competition and improvement. I know that sometimes a good picture of a Maserati can be featured, but look under the forum "shots that should be featured" and you will see a huge ass list of amazing pictures taken by spotters.

A_A_L you should try Autogespot, great photography is always respected there even if its "just" a Mercedes or a BMW.

It's ok if you don't like the site, but then just don't use it anymore. Creating fake accounts, etc, just ruins the site for the people who do like the site, like me.

If he did like all of his photos he obviously was trying to boost his rating, but it really isn't too difficult to make a script that would create accounts and like all your photos. You can do it on Facebook with less than 200 lines of code. However, even if you were trying to prove a point to the site that isn't the way to do it, you could have disrupted or inhibited services which doesn't really effect the owners but more the users. So like it says above, it was more of an FU to everyone on this site.

For me, this site isn't competitive, I just use it to share my passion of cars with other people who share that passion. I hope that is how most people on this site feel. Sadly that is not how A_A_L felt. Think, if we were all like him, it would do nothing but make the site a very unpleasant way to spent our time.

I feel the same way as you do. Competition is what can destroy friendships and it takes away all of the fun of car spotting.

Very well-said. I love seeing the cool spots submitted from around the world, and that's really all it should be about.
