Haha, for some people the Spot of the Day system has its problems too, just ask Rivitography. He doesnt want to upload anything to AG because he's afraid his spots wont win the SotD vote.

Well, before the spotter rank thing was around.. We had people ranked by the number of photos uploaded, so people would upload tons of cr*p to get a higher rank.

Hi All... This is Art (otherwise known by my former screenname A_A_L). Just here to clarify a few things.

This is a nice little site, but it has gotten stale and needs change. To be honest, I got tired of it. Among other things, I got tired of how this was a ratings driven site. Contrary to what the Admins may have fed you, ratings mean NOTHING to me, believe that. For example, I didn't like how a cr*ppy boring shot of some Ferrari by a high-rated user gets more recognition than a spectacular shot of a Porsche/Maserati/BMW by some lesser user. That's not what I visited the site for. This is EXOTICSPOTTER.COM, not FERRARI/LAMBORGHINI/BUGATTIfanboys.com. This site should've done more to make sure all exotics were appreciated. I have petitioned the Admins on multiple occassions with suggestions for site improvement. But they always rudely ignored all requests for site improvement. I never got their attention. Well now they got my attention.

Here's what I did in response... I work all day with computers and am very knowledgeable in programming. I purposely and easily wrote a script file that created fake accounts just to mess with the rude Admins. Contrary to what you may think, with this script it literally takes about 10 seconds of your time to create all the accounts, just use ONE fake email address each time. Then simply delete the account. And since I am pretty good with computers, I created a script that automated this process. Almost instantaneously. I guess you can call it a big F/U to the Admins. By the way, only 96 accounts? I'm sure my script created much more than that. I used to ask myself "When are these genius Admins going to figure it out?". Ask yourself this: Why would I do this AND delete my own account with 635 uploads for no reason at all?? Like I said, this site needed a change. This was never about boosting ratings. It was about EXPLOITING the weakness of this site. By the way, these Admins can figure out Internet Protocol addresses but can't figure out how to listen to their users to easily improve the site?

I still very much enjoy seeing exotics around town and enjoyed looking at some of the great shots on this site. But I deleted my own account for the reasons listed above. I am proud of the shots I uploaded on my page. Every single one of them was a legit shot, believe that. Admittedly, some were very good (even if I do say so myself!).

I will continue to take pics of cars whenever I get a chance on my personal Flickr account. To be brutally honest, it is a far superior site than this one for sharing and displaying photos. Best of all, nobody is a number on that site.

Anyways, that's all that needs to be said. Thanks to all the kind folks out there who shared their shots with the true intention of what this site is supposed to be about.
