Sub catagorys. If a F430 is a Scuderia, there should be an option for Scuderia

The featured section is good for the site. Naturally, a Continental is not going to get the same amount of likes as a Veyron, so why categorize them in the same place? Plus, when new people come onto the site, why would they want to see all the junk that tends to get uploaded along with the wonderful stuff?

I understand what you are saying. No offense, but calling exotics that aren't Veyrons as "junk" is kind of ignorant. You'd probably admire and appreciate a Bentley Continental if you had the money to buy one. Remember, this is exoticspotter.com not veyrons.com... As in, all exotics should be appreciated, not just the flashy ones.

What would make everyone happy is to design the page to have ALL exotics posted on the main page but have the option to where each individual member can customize the 1st row to display the cars that he/she prefers.

Everyone wins.

What I don't understand is that theres a category for the XK-RS but other cars with S in the name don't. i.e. 911 Turbo S.

I'm not sure if you do fully get what I'm saying. Some people don't care to see a Continental or new Ghibli on the home page of the site with all of the other Aventadors, 458s, etc. Honestly, who really would?

Also, I wasn't referring to the cars as physical junk, so you've missed my point there as well. I also wasn't calling them that in the way that they are sh*t either, but it's like looking at a small house versus a mansion, which would you enjoy seeing more? The mansion, obviously (you know, unless you're a bit odd). I appreciate all exotics, but some exotics should be appreciated more than others, hence why the featured page exists.

What they should do is allow one to choose, upon first coming on to the site, whether or not they want to be automatically directed to the featured page or the all page.

i definitely see where you are coming from, but in my opinion, the s in the xkrs makes quite a difference, it goes from an xkr which is neither rare nor flashy atleast in my area, to an xkrs, which is an exotic, rare, beast of a machine that looks insane. the s in turbo s, isn't that big of a deal though, it doesn't bring it up to the next class or caliber of car like the xkrs does.

and who cares, they never implement any ideas that we say anyway

I agree with Penguins22..I am a spotter in Maine..It kinda sucks to get really excited about seeing a Continental in Portland and then posting it and get 2 likes...I mean it sucks but i understand it. I went to boston the other day and didnt even look twice at Teslas even though i spend 10 minutes taking pics of one in maine the previous week...I would appreciate a bit more love for the unfeatured though

I agree, I'm a smaller spotter than half this site and I haven't had many features on this site. I have stopped uploading most of my spots not because they ain't featured but the fact I have about 4 viewers on my pictures most of the time. It's pointless to upload really. It's alright for the top spotters living in the rich areas but I live in a poor city to be honest. This annoys me as car spotting is my only real hobby left. Just sucks that I don't have many people looking at my spots.

What if we made a second style of ranking. One that would rank like best in ur state or region or somthing like that. Becuase like if u live in a low paying area and you don't see exotics a lot to a person who live in like LA or Miami they see a lot more and the rankings seem unfair. Becuase like a person who post veyrons to one who post a bentleys and maserati's. Like keep this in perspective people on this site have seen up to four p1 on the road and posted them all and I haven't see one in a show or anything and I don't think most people have but it just seems location really decides rank

That's likely because that's not much of an exotic. It's just an old Hudson.

how about this... admins actually respond to ideas
instead of letting people waste there time debating ideas for the site

no point ever discussing ideas, admins have not once responded to a ideas thread weather it was an awesome idea or sh*t one they dont care
