Not sure I agree with the featuring based off of photo quality before car especially an Alfa Romeo 8C. But okay I guess, it's a new idea, maybe it will make more sense to me later on.

I think they're just tyring to keep it to higher quality images so the front page is more apealing for people visiting the website.

Of course this is the reason. 95% of visitors to ExoticSpotter do not upload photos, they just want to see good shots of nice cars. It's our job as moderators to curate and pick the best ones.

That's true, I can see that. I'm just kind of confused, what was the reason for deleting my picture of the McLaren P1? I mean multiple people even said it was a good picture.

And what was the reason for unfeaturing the Porsche 918?
And the Lamborghini Aventador SV?
I mean I've been taking pictures for years and I've taken photography classes, I'm not a pro or anything, but help me, I'm just not seeing what makes these pictures deserving of being unfeatured.

same with a good shot of a 599, wraith, cali t, Bentley, and a 458

Well I heard back from Gregg and he said that cars spotted in spectator parking lots are not legitimate spots (pseudospots he called it) so they can be posted but will be unfeatured regardless of the car.
I think if that is a new rule, it should at least be on the list of rules so people understand why their pictures are getting unfeatured.
Apparently he said my McLaren P1 picture was an accident and I could re-post it, but it would get unfeatured of course.

That's definitely a first. I know that cars in special exotic designated parking areas aren't actual spots.

I didn't say those photos would never be featured. If the shot is really good, it will still be featured. What I said was that if you upload a "pseudo spot" and provide no details in the description, we're going to assume it is not a legitimate spotting. You need to let the community know the situation so they don't assume it's a car show, or some friend's garage, or whatever.

I think no character limit when you do a post on a forum because on 'google maps spotting (now more organised)' When I put spots from certain states under those states I can only do like 2 spots because of the character limit.
