I have been very surprised at the amount of people who have chosen to break the rules recently, so I would like to know how/if it is possible become a moderator. I think our current moderation team is fine, but I would like to help keep the rule-breakers in check. So I ask this: Is it possible to become a moderator, and if so what do you have to do? I am interested.

I think we should have a Admin for each state. Say some admin in Florida has never been to illinois. Say we don't have an illinois admin. Say somebody posts a non legit spot in illinois. How are the admins in other states supposed to trust the people who are saying it's not legit?

The mods were chosen originally pretty much based on reputation so there's not really a formal way to become one. I do agree with the idea that some photos may be left up or removed without knowledge of the validity of it, and that's why we request that all reports have as much detail and proof as possible so that we can do our jobs better.

Jon I dont know if it is your job but my pics do not upload at all and I have no respect for mods because of what they say to me in messages and the fact that my spots are not equally looked at.

You can help by regularly flagging photos that you think should be removed from the site. The mods see every flag people make and the photos will be removed as long as sufficient proof is given. Thanks for your concern.

That's actually a terrific idea. But there should only be moderators for major spotting states like Florida, Illinois, New York, etc

Some other good ones would be for California, North Carolina, Indiana, Ohio, and Arizona.

Not saying its not a bad idea but yall are only thinking about the U.S.. Exoticspotter is the whole world, think about how many moderators there would be if there was one for every major state/country in the world. It would also be unfair cause everyones opinion on what places are the major spotting states will be different. Suggestions are great and all but just let it be, the current moderators are fine and if they need help they will ask us. And yall are forgetting about Texas, one the top 5 exotic car places in the US, IMO.

If there was a mod for each state, there would be too many mods. The site would become a mess. I see why you may think its a good idea, but in reality it could go very wrong. And as VinWin said: What about the other countries?

As others said, if you see a photo that breaks the rules.. Just report it with as much proof as you can give.
