Just today, i saw some really cool cars driving through the rich neighborhood (as we like to call it) including the infamous 911 GT3 RS that i can NEVER get a picture of. so i think its fine to post driveway pics

The only reason I voted in favor of the rule is because I am taking into account the potential privacy concerns of some exotic owners. Yes, some are flashy and deliberately park their cars in a manner that suggests they want people to see their car from public viewing distance but there are others (a greater majority I would think) who do want to keep their privacy and don't want people on the internet to know that a particular address is housing a particular supercar. If I owned a supercar, I would have the same concern. Just voicing my opinion.

That's why we blur their license plates

I think he means getting the house in the shot, a lot of people don't like that

Then why couldn't we crop out the house

Well, lot of the driveway shots I've seen are taken from a distance though and wouldn't really be worth uploading if that was the rule. Also, the line between legal and illegal would become quite blurry if that was how the rule went and it would lead to countless arguments.

if you're semi-decent at editing then you can easily blur the house

We always go around wealthy areas and we have a lot of pictures of cars. However, most of them are in driveways. I voted against the rule because I never know that any of the cars will be there, but I still feel a little of guilt because I don't want to break a rule
