I'll settle this debate once and for all...

'67 & '68 Shelby GT500 = EXOTIC

2007 onward = NOT AS EXOTIC

You're welcome! :-)

All GT500's are exotic!!!!!!!!!!!!
This proves it.

And if the Z06 category is deleted, they'll all just be posted in the ZL1s again. We havent had the category for long. But i dont care about that as much as the Gt500s.

Then we can go back to the Corvette, its handels are far from good, same with the Viper. The 911 sells like crazy, as does the Corvette, and, while the Lotus is more rare than the GT500 that shouldn't protect it. If 45,000 people wanted a Lotus then they'd be happy to sell them. We might as well allow Cayman S and Boxster S if we are going to allow Elise. Similar price, performance, design. The only difference is the sale numbers but you can't just use those to determine what is and isn't exotic.

How can you say that about the Corvette? Have you driven one?

Yes, its handels don't stack up to other cars in the price range I've driven (911, XK, and R8). While they aren't TERRIBLE its very lose and slides allot, which is fun, but not under the good handeling category.

And sorry about the back to back post.

My neighbor owns a ZR1 and we take corners like nothing. It sticks to the road with absolutely NO slip.

Ok, 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4CPBfpnye0

2, my girlfriend had a grandsport convertible (transmission messed up waiting till new one comes out to get another one) and while it has better handels than my Mustang it isn't up to par with its competitors

I can take a 458, turn the traction control off, put my foot on the floor from the get go and make the wheels spin endlessly just like Jeremy Clarkson.

Top Gear has always been against everything that comes out of America. You can't use their logic.

Yes, I know they don't like America, but I've driven the Corvette and the R8 and the R8 is superior in handeling... and for the record you can spin tires in a Corvette with the traction control on... oh and btw they say you should get the Corvette at the end, I think they actually like it.

Base Corvettes aren't meant to compete with Ferraris. The ZR1 does run with the Ferraris, therefore, there is no wheelspin off the line,

I said Corvettes as a whole not ZR1, I haven't driven a ZR1 so I don't know about that. I know the Grandsport spins tires ALLOT.
