Okay, I posted a 1980s Porsche 911 SC from a foreign car repair shop in New Canaan, Connecticut, and it got deleted. Okay, let me tell you something: foreign car repair shops mean Toyotas, Nissans, Mercedes, and any other foreign car from around the world. That doesn't necessarily mean they ONLY specialize in exotics. They specialize in only foreign/imported cars. Almost never do they receive anything like a Porsche, or Rolls Royce. Do you think this is legitimate?

I don't think any Porsche 911 below the turbo is exotic, but, for the sake of this poll I'll think about the car in question as a Porsche GT3RS. As long as the place doesn't specialize in Bentley, Porsche, Ferrari etc (and you see a ton of those cars there very often) then I think it's fine. A shop is a shop, it's going to be as random as any parking lot.

Well, they do know how to work on exotic cars, but they rarely do get any.

A better question would be, is a 911 SC actually an exotic car? Of course you will say yes but I don't think most people will agree with you.

ive posted quite a few photos from repair shops no one ever minded
most of them are gone now due to the shots not meeting me standard now

I don't think it should be allowed. To me its no different than a dealership or private garage. Its not a 'wild' spotting. Thats my opinion.

Why ever not? It's mixed in with normal, everyday cars. If we are talking the Miller Motorcars Service Facility in Stamford, Connecticut, that's a different story since they ONLY work on exotic cars.

Well, cars are often sold at these places and imo it's no different than a dealership or a restoration place.

Are you sure, Jason? I know of a semi-exotic repair place (they fix non-exotics as well), and they had a couple of cars for sale, one being a Ferrari 355 GTS.

At all the repair shops I've been do, they've never sold cars. Only fix them.
