I'm counting for your help , because I would to buy one of these, but I don't know which. I hope, that you will recommended for me : Canon or Nikon. They are worth in Poland almost the same price, therefore it is a very difficult choose. I wanna to know which one has a bigger resolution or something as ISO. I'd to know opinions of peoples who own a Canon ,same with peoples who ow a Nikon. It will be my first DSLR

Here you can compare specs: http://www.dpreview.com/products/compare/side-by-side?products=canon_eos1100d&products=nikon_d3100

I'd go with Nikon here, overall better specs because it's newer, don't let the 1100D's announcement year fool you, it's basically a 450D from 2008 with a new name. And the Nikon can shoot 1080p video.

And this is coming from a Canon user.

If he says he can afford those two cameras why are you suggesting something that costs significantly more?

I don't know anything about Nikon but the T3 I used to use and still have was a decent camera. It is perfect if you have never used a DSLR before and the quality is good enough.
