you ever notice that when you click the "spotters" link and you see like spotters that haven't been on in like 2 or so years? it bugs me. i think that those inactive accounts should be deleted. i mean, if they havent been on in like 2 or so years, they probly dont even remember their account info you know? besides, it could make things a little smoother without those "ghost profiles" (thats what i call them) just sitting there. do you agree?

I disagree. It would remove too many spots and mess up the highest rated pages.

No, the accounts should not be deleted. Perhaps they should be marked inactive or something after the user has not logged in for 3 months (for example) and the spotter rating would go to someone else.

I dont know about that either. What if you went on vacation for a month or two and came back to find your rank gone? Maybe people who havent logged on in over a year though because that would mean they quit for sure.

Who goes on vacation for 3 months to a place without any internet? Besides, if you leave for 3 months and come back on month 4 or 5, you shouldn't have to restart from the lowest rank. You should retain your old rank if you're up to spotting again. You still have those likes/comments/favorites from before..

edit: retain your old rank or w.e rank you'd fall into after the elapsed time*

I guess that would work then. But it might be a lot of work for the admins to put into effect. I guess it's a good idea though.

I think inactive accounts (unused for over a year or so) should still have their spots but their rating should be given to someone else.

yea i agree with toronto spots because some people dont see nice car for a few months due to where they live, so they arent active until they see one. also people go through phases and become temporarily un interested for a few months, then come back so a year is a good time frame for only the rating being gone

I agree the accounts should be marked inactive and their spots should stay but rank should be given to someone else till the account has been logged into.

Don't delete those accounts. Maybe the ones with 0 contributions who are inactive.
