Is there a history of the automobile dating before 1900 that I could write 7 pages about? I have to write a research paper for history and since were spending two months on it, I might as well make it about something I like, not to mention I might get a higher grade for an original topic.

Something that may be interesting would be the different types of propulsion for early cars, and why gasoline came out on top. Although this would likely end up going several years past 1900.

If i was going to do something along the lines of that i'd do early "high speed" like world record cars. Rocket powered stuff. Idk whatever floats ur lobster :)

the karl benz might work. also i heard something about volkswagon and how they built something for the germans during a war. anyone know anything about that?

I just finished a 5 page paper about Porsche, yesterday. Half of the paper was about their history so I'm sure you could find any car manufacture and do the same.
