What Car is This?

This. The license plate says it's a Corvette C3, so it's obviously a kit car, but I want to know what it's supposed to look like.

There was a series of low-volume cars in the 80s like the Godfather Roadster. This appears to be coachbuilt into one of those.

I know this is a Corvette but I don't know if its special in any way or not. It says "GTR" on the bumper.

It looks like a 1970s/1980s GTR, but the headlights just don't look it...
