Hi,
Do you think it is a good idea to capture the VIN of the cars we spot?
Lets say the same Lambo is seen by 2-3 different spotters over a period of time.
Do you think it would be a good idea to have an app that would allow spotters to aggregate their work by VIN?
What are your concerns in general about the VIN?

Taking pics of VIN numbers is somewhat obvious, and it looks suspicious. I don't think it's illegal, but it's definitely not something I would do. License plates work pretty well though, as you usually end up with pictures of the car that show the plate. Plus they're way easier to write in text than VIN numbers.
