This is a really old forum topic, but I felt that this was relevant...

I've been rather obsessive lately over knowing the in's and out's of my local Ferrari world. I live in central Illinois and to my surprise there are 20 known Ferraris in my town. I have gotten the information based on speaking to the owners personally, visiting the local shop that repairs these cars, and by seeing the cars over and over again on the streets.

So here's the list. I have to say that I'm a little proud for getting this put together. Cars keep coming and going lately...

Yo haha I'm from the area as well. I have seen the gray F430 Spider with ADV1s, the F12, 360CS, 612 with the HREs, and the 458 as well as some GTRs. I know there's a Gallardo around here too, red one, as well as various Vipers. You saw that 12C around here as well, correct?

Yeah the 12C was a guy who blew in from Springfield. But the owner of the F430 spider also owns the red Gallardo...

These are the Ferraris I have seen in the town where I most commonly spot, Downers Grove. I don't know the model years, but I know the models themselves:

Ferrari Testarossa
Ferrari 550 Maranello
Ferrari California x2
Ferrari 360 Modena
Ferrari F430 x2
Ferrari 250 (it's real)

Downer's Grove is a beautiful place. Bet it is real great for spotting. Thanks for adding to the list.

Let me add a third California to my list, forgot about a black one that is often at Starbucks in the downtown area. And yeah you should go there, there are 25 Maseratis that all live there. Plus there is an Huracan, an Aventador that I often miss, an MG commonly parked down an alley in the downtown area, and a lot of 911s. Search Downers Grove and check all the great things that have been spotted there.

I've been told the owner of the Gallardo does not own the 430 Spyder, but his brother.
