For me sitting in cars is cool, but I think I'm typically fine with just taking pictures and conversing with the owners and other enthusiasts.

I know! Like if they smile, I usually feel fine, but it is ways alittle weird when they are getting in/out.

Depends on the person, i normally like meeting the owners and typically we get into some nice conversations but i've met a few i just didn't want to be around.
