The only cars I keep track of are limited edition cars/ones with chassis numbers. I don't know how you could differentiate 97 different 458s nor why you would care to. If I see that many of a certain car then I just don't even look at them anymore.

Well, I would say 80% of members on this site do not have the opportunities to see such rare cars as often as you do, so keeping track of lesser ones is what they enjoy to do. I personally have kept track of every car I have a picture of, primarily because I like making spreadsheets and tables. Haha.

I created a note on my phone for the number of each car I see. Every time I see a new one I would just change it on my phone.
