Our administration doesn't like to miss school days. We have 1 snow day and 195 days of school. 100% conservative

Dallas was supposed to get, at most, half an inch of ice... The city wakes up to 6 inches of snow.

Thats really weird… we have 1/2 an inch on the ground and its supposed to be 50 next tuesday. And yup were talking about wisconsin vs. texas lol.

Dallas is back to 37 sunny with no snow in sight again.
It makes me question if this morning and right now, are even the same day..

Sounds like Utah. Snow in the morning but gone in the afternoon. At least we are having a short winter this year.

It seems like where I live has just been dumped with more snow and cold than usual. It's rather annoying as it's been coming at just the wrong time or with just the wrong amount to get us out of school.

While we do have snow plows, honestly the ones around here can be sh*t sometimes and if it snows at the wrong hour, the roads can still be icy or snowy to the point that it's somewhat dangerous to be out on them to go to school. Also, if the temperature drops below like -10 F (with windchill and such), then school will be delayed or called off depending on when it warms up to above that point.

Well some parts of the US have no school even if an inch of snow accumulates. It's either because the region doesn't have enough salt and snowplows, or everyone just completely over reacts to snow.

Today was 47 degrees, so much snow melted. It also looks like the warm up is here to stay, so it looks like spotting season is here :)
