I'm getting a T3i for Christmas. Thats pretty much set in stone. But I also want some lenses. Any advice as to which ones? Much appreciated :)

Assuming you get the basic 18-55mm kit lens with it? Some options if you want more zoom, and that aren't too expensive, Canon's 55-250mm, 18-135mm or 18-200mm. The 55-250 offers the best image quality, but it also means that you have change lenses every time you photograph somethings thats close and something thats far, because the 55mm wide end is too 'long' for close photos. And if you want to not have to change lenses everytime, and a small drop image quality doesnt bother you, I'd recommend Canon 18-135 or 18-200.

Totally agree with Chloe but if u are willing to spend some major DOSH Then look at L lens like a 70-200 f2.8 but there quite a bit..

I'd say for starters it's better to get something to the telephoto range, because there's quite a lot of situations where cars are at distance.

Im thinking that a 18-135 would be better then a 55-135 or 55-200.

How much does an 18-135 cost and is it good for spotting

What Lenses would be good for a Nikon D3200? It comes with an 18-55 mm. Any others?
