Wait, is a high ranking good or bad? Andrew is on the first page with a ranking of 1 :/

He is the spotter with the highest ranking on the site.

Probably because he hasn't been on in a few days (only reason I could think of). I don't think time away from ES should have any effect on your score though (at least not that radically..) perhaps there is some benefit to it that I can't see.

edit: Oh, nevermind, completely misunderstood how the system works lol it's a ranking, not a score. Woops.

No, I think it is because

1. He has over 1000 photos on his account
2. 92% of them made it to the front page
3. He earns a lot of respect from a lot of people on the site
4. He busts a lot of photos taken at Car Week
5. He's mature, and doesn't get that mad at little things

I think it depends from the amount of likes + favourites.

Well, I don't think I'm going to be uploading muscle cars anytime soon...

EDIT: Just uploaded an F430 Spider to help my ranking

Likes + favorites and some other stuff perhaps go into some sort of algorithm and translate to a score which is then translated into a ranking. For example, andrew has the highest score thus giving him the rank #1.

Details are not that important.
Read the blog post: http://www.exoticspotter.com/blog/2013/06/25/new-ranking-system/
