Even ANDREWS photos only get 20 likes now....

it all depends on the upload time, if you upload when nobody is on your photo wont stand a chance at getting many likes or comments
some people naturally get more attention due to them having awesome quality shots so their shot of a 458 probably get alot more than anyone else's on an average upload

My quality is not terrible. But I just don't get why people don't get many likes

My friend RudeDude2140a (aka steven) left due to many reasons, one of them being the new ranking system.

Even if you don't like the car you can like the picture.... you don't have to favorite everything. You can always comment nice shot or nice pic.

i completely agree with this statement. I too like everything, unless it is stolen, against the rules, or soooooo bad it makes me throw up, and i too have noticed the number of likes has gone down. its really dumb imo, its not like your going to win anything for having a higher ranking or anything. ES is a place to share photos of cars and meet fellow enthusiasts, not a website to compete against spotters to get a good rating. And its not like its something you can brag about. Most people wont care about it, as they have never heard of ES. And there is no way you are going to use it as a pickup line lol. "Hey there Baby, im Jerl, the number 128th Ranked spotter on Exotic Spotter.com. Impressed yet baby???" Wont pick anybody up that way.

As much as some of you guys hate it, the new ranking system does lead to higher quality posts on the site. People will not post a bunch of junk if they know it directly affects their number. The rating should not be such a big deal though. I don't really care if I an number 1 or number 20 because that isn't why I spend time on the site. Also I'm not sure if people are actually liking stuff less or if you guys are imagining this. The photos I have recently posted seem to get about the same amount of likes that they always have.
