As you may have already heard, SPEED, a TV Channel that had shows such as "Hot Rod TV", "Car Crazy", "Pass Time", and "Hot Rod TV", is being replaced with FOX Sports 1 and FOX Spprts 2. All these shows you will no longer be able to see. As for Barrett-Jackson Reno Tahoe, it will stay on FOX Sports 1, then FOX Sports 2, and then National Geographic (whaaaaaat?). Thoughts? Concerns?

This is complete BS. I loved that channel, and now because of the meatheads who love football, they have to replace it.

Ugh, sports. Boring to play, and even more boring to watch. Though I hated Speed, so it doesn't bother me.

Doesn't phase me, literally never watched SPEED for anything. There's a much greater market for sports television so it's definitely the right business decision. There's never been any real competition to ESPN so hopefully FOX Sports can change that because ESPN sucks.

Sports are literally the most fun, fulfilling, rewarding activity there is. Nothing takes your mind off your problems better than shooting hoops in an empty gym or hitting the batting cages.

The last thing I want to become is a jock who obsessed with football like half the kids in my school. I'm more of the nerd type XD

Also, video games and sports is why the entire car passion is decreasing, and is almost wiped out in our generation

The people who let it control their lives are idiots. I was a varsity athlete all through high school, did well enough in class to get into Penn State, and went spotting from time to time.

Now I cover sports at Penn State, and I'll still make time to go to car shows. The passion in me isn't decreasing because of anything.

Not for you. but for most of America. Take my brother for instance. He YELLS at his Xbox when he doesn't make a shot in NBA 2K13. And all of the kids at school only talk about football, and at my younger brother's 5th grade spectacular (an idiotic show out on at my younger brother's elementary school at the time), they had a Wheel of Fortune act where the person would say "Lottery Toilet" instead of "Lottery Ticket", but they replaced it with "LeBron James". That's where I put my foot down.

Also, from what I've heard, people at my school stay up 'till 3:00 on the morning on school nights on Xbox Live, they accidentally sleep in, and they skip breakfast. This isn't even a joke

I've never been one for sports. I've also never been a big videogame player. I'll happily play a few games for a few hours a week, and I will be inclined to play more if I am playing online with friends.

Staying up until 3:00 AM is easy. On school nights I've had times where I got less than 3 hours of sleep (by my own choice), and yet I still managed to get my breakfast, dress the same way I always do, have all of my schoolwork done when it was due, and manage a 3.9-4.0 GPA. I've trained my body to function on little sleep.

Lots of nights staying up very late on the computer. I do not recommend it. I don't think there were more than 20-30 nights where I went to bed before midnight.
