Is the GT500 really worthy of being posted on this site? Yes it is fast, but it is really nothing more than a fairly common Mustang. The pictures of them seem to not usually get very many likes and comments either.

It should, because:

. They are insanely fast
. Rare to find (maybe not for you, but for most people)
. Carroll Shelby is dead, so the least we can do is show some decent respect for him for creating the best muscle cars of all time by keeping the category on here
. Costs over $100,000

My reasons may sound stupid, but that's my opinion

It costs about $60,000 and honoring Carol Shelby isn't really a valid reason. I have a lot of respect for him but that should not affect if the car is exotic or not.

*Carroll

And the Shelby Mustangs are going to become extremely rare in the future because they will become more valuable overtime since they might not make Shelby Mustangs anymore. The last time I got a picture of one was a month ago. I haven't seen one since. It's not every day you see one

EDIT: Someone just now uploaded one

I doubt they will stop making them and even if they do, it doesn't mean the current ones are going to become valuable any time soon. The person posted the photo before I made this post.

That is irrelevant.

I'm just wondering. They are rare to find for me, I'm just curious on how many you see per day. I rarely see any, and if I do, it's only once a month basically

You do have a point. I saw a Shelby GT for sale in a magazine (the ones you get at the supermarket for free) and it was for sale for $26,500

again we will sy this, just cause it is rare for YOU it doesn't mean it is right for this site, are you that selfish

and as andrewo said its nbot a valid reason just to honor someone, and IF they become rare and worth a lot in a few years time THEN they can be uploaded but till then, NO

I've only see like maybe 3-5 a year and so far I've seen more maserati's and E63's than them
