I was thinking about upgrading my rebel xsi. My dad and I were looking on ebay and found the 60d looked really good. Has anyone used the 60d or have any other recommendations? Thanks.

I'm also in the market to upgrade and if you're looking at the 60d, look at the rebel t3i. It's cheaper and shares almost the exact same specs at the 60d. Only difference is the 60d battery life is much longer, a few hardware differences such as a fancy extra lcd screen and I believe it is weatherproof. If those things don't matter for you, might as well get the t3i and put the leftover money towards a lens.

Thank you, I will definitely put the T3i in consideration.

One thing that is very useful even in car photography is the rotating screen, no more lying in the dirt if you want a shot from low angle. lol

I'm not sure what model you have now (damn Canon using different names is America), but depending on your budget, I can only recommend the 60D. But only if you're using something else than the standard 18-55, if not, use the money for a new lens.

The t3i also has a rotating screen and is like $200 cheaper. I'm pretty sure the only differences are the ones I mentioned.

Snapsort.com says the 60D has better image quality, less shutter lag, better color depth, and shoots more frames per second. The max shutter speed is 1/8000 compared to the T3i's 1/4000.

I have the 450d/XSi. My budget is probably $600 and I probably will get one on ebay. I got my XSi for $200 and 2 lenses, the 18-55 and 70-300.
