Does anybody have a good shooting mode for a Canon EOS Rebel T3 for taking pictures of parked cars outside? I am going to a Ferrari Concours tomorrow, and I want to know the best shooting mode for this event

Why did you make, what is essentially, a duplicate post?

Well, then just change the topic of the other one. It's rather pointless to have two of the same post, simply with different titles.

Do you shoot in manual? I usually do, and just adjust the settings depending on the lighting. On my T1i, I also use the "P" setting, which takes care of everything apart from the ISO, which is completely adjustable. Great setting if you don't want to jack with the manual. Not familiar with the T3i, but I'm sure it has this setting too.

With the T3i, I just turn the dial to the no flash setting. It may not be the best one, but it works well.

What about shooting moving cars? What mode and what shutter speed should I use?

Higher shutter speed, low ISO. All depends on light.

What would be considered high?

Anything really that allows your camera to snap the picture quickly with adequate exposure. Like I said, it all depends on the lighting. If your shutter speed is too low, and you're trying to capture a moving object, it'll look terrible. I strongly recommend using the "P" setting though if you don't want to worry about shutter speed and f-stop adjustments. Also, for quicker shots, I recommend shooting with the automatic focus turned off.
