The only reason American Football is American is because no one else really likes it. If it were more popular, believe me, it would have spread worldwide. E.g. Baseball has spread to Japan and Latin America whereas American Football doesn't have the fan base.

How come the Super Bowl is always the most watched event every year, then?

I hate the commercials, I'd rather have the game broadcast without them.

And my comment was stupid because some random soccer match apparently has the highest worldwide audience. Then again, the world shouldn't care as much about it because all the players in the NFL are American.

I'm saying their pussies COMPARED to rugby or Aussie rules players. Any athlete will be physically fit and strong, but in comparison, Aussie rules is essentially American football without pads.

But in the end, Ice Hockey is the king of all sports, it's a perfect combination of speed, skill, physicality, end of discussion. :)

Well I wouldn't expect people to care about it all over the world, considering all the teams and players are American.

Blackhawks. Long story...

I never knew/liked hockey until my roommate got NHL 12 and I would play it all the time. I never knew what team to use so I just picked the Blackhawks and they became the only team I knew anything about. Jonathan Toews became my favorite player and they sort of became my favorite team. It's not just because they won the Stanley Cup.
