Hello everyone I was thinking for my birthday to go with a friend to the New York auto show.
1.) will I see anything cool
2.) is there anything in spectator lots etc
3.) is it worth going to

I'm not sure what other interesting stuff is confirmed yet, but it should be great anyway. Koenigsegg will have a 2014 Agera R, Alfa Romeo will have the 4C and Mercedes will debut its new S63 AMG coupe which looks great. I'll be there on Wednesday's press day so if you want to know everything, I can give you a rundown.

EDIT: Just checked the press releases. Porsche will bring a 918 Spyder, Toyota will bring the FT-1 and the new Z06 will be there as well (I have yet to see it myself). Also a Veyron, but NYIAS attendees have seen that over the years already.

Not in their stand. Your best bet would be going on the last weekend and hoping someone has one in the DUB Show. Manufacturers' stands never have older production cars unless it's some special occasion.

I'm going to the show and can't wait. They will have an Agera R, ZO6 and others. Gonna be great!

There's really no "spectator lots" anywhere since it's in the middle of the city. But you can get lucky in random parking garages, and there will likely be things driving around the city.
