Here is what i've noticed - many journalists have their thoughts on cars. Clarkson for example, is usually unhappy with the vehicles. However, some of my friends had the chance to drive a few of the cars that Clarkson does not like and they think the vehicles are - "AMAZING MAAAN" :) . So, do you think that the point of view of most journalists is correct and do you think that they have any influence on the actual buyers of these machines. Of course, some of us like the films that TG or other make but does this change anything? If they say something bad about a Ferrari (as Clarkson said last night about the Amazing Berlinetta) will this make any difference for the company, the brand or the sells etc? What do you think?

Top Gear is entertainment and I think most viewers understand that. Anyone who buys a car based on TG advice alone should not be allowed to make decisions involving money in the first place.

I agree with you about TG but do you think that the car journalists - not only TG but all of them, have any influence on the potential buyers. of course, the teenagers care about what these people say but do the people with the money?

I think they do to some descent....but in the end it comes down to the buyer buying the car he wants.

I would suggest people do not use Top Gear advice. While they do use road tests, it is classified as an entertainment show, and not a factual show
