Okay, I am getting sick of this site. I spotted my first Spyker in the SPECTATOR LOT, YES, S-P-E-C-T-A-T-O-R LOOOOOTTTTT at Lime Rock Park, and people still say it isn't legit because the doors are up and the owner was there.

Is this spot legit?

I'm sorry, but I don't know how much more of this I can take. You know how supercar_spotter uploaded those paddock spots? I'm worried that if I do the same, I am going to get banned for it.

Look, this is looking massively like the spectator lot of the Keeneland Concours from this year. The show invited all kinds of different cars to park up surrounding the show. I didn't take a good picture of the cars, but there was a fair number of them there. It was like a massive cruise in outside a car show. That is what that looked massively like. Most spectator lots are not specifically organized like this.

For example, here is a 308 in the lot which shows a few cars in the background.

Actually, no it isn't. Nobody else had all the doors open like the Spyker owner did. They were not invited, they just all parked together, just like The Quail Lodge parking lot. If you didn't see in the background, there were normal cars behind it too.

These cars weren't invited to come. They had simply come for the show, and were sent to this area to park with the other exotics and rare cars. As it is clear to see, there are lots of rare cars in the background.

Yes, but after that row, it is normal cars. It was a normal parking lot that just happened to have a lot of exotics there.

Seriously, do you really think the owner of the Spyker would just randomly show up to any parking lot, pull up a chair, open the doors, and have everyone just come and admire it?

He's at that event for a reason... to show off his car. Many spectator lots are themselves a sideshow event.

I post spectator lot pix all the time and so do lots of other people. I think this spot is legit.
If you think that there are going to be doubts about your spots, then dont post them. Simple as that.

Ok Rivi, at this point I am tired of your complaints about not being able to upload a picture to ES. I live in a area where it is very difficult to spot cars - I am not complaining I know I enjoy it more than I would living in a place where supercars are everywhere, because I work to get my pictures. This week for example, the entire week (writing this 5:00pm sunday) my best spot was a Lamborghini Superleggera. That is the only one I have ever seen, and I waited half an hour to get a picture. Besides that the only other thing I saw was a CL63 AMG, the entire week! Which I cant even upload here. So unlike you I dont have over 1000 pictures I am waiting to upload, I get excited when I see a Lotus Elise for gods sake. I would like to reiterate, I am not complaining, you are the one complaining and you got to SEE a Spyker and get pictures of it! and you are angry just because you cant post them on a website! You need to stop complaining, stop making posts to try and get you to upload non exotic cars, especially when you say you have pictures of over 1000!

+1

I only get to see decent cars when I go to Brisbane once a month and the best thing I have ever seen is a Superleggera. I am also not complaining the best parts are waiting and wondering whether you'll see anything or not.

I say just be happy you got to see the car in person. This is just a website, your life doesn't depend on pictures staying up or being deleted.
