I have a pretty big hotwheels/ matchbox collection. A couple hundred cars, i've never traded though.

I've got some old vintage ones. My most valuable ones are an orange VW Beach Bomb (side loading), the Road King Truck from the Mountain Mining set, and the rare '67 Camaro treasure hunt from 1995 (it's in pretty bad condition though.)

I go to a Hot Wheels Convention every year, and I have a lot of convention cars. I have a lot of them that are 1 of 50 in the world. I one time found a Super Treasure Hunt at CVS. That's my best find ever

I have around 500. Most of them are from when I was a kid though, so a lot of them are pretty beat up. My first ever was a silver Mercedes SL that I got when I was like 1. I haven't gotten any new ones in like a year though. I think the last one I got was a Ferrari 458.
