At the moment adding people as a friend is pretty pointless

I think we should have a small box like the blogs box on the main page where it shows recent uploads by your friends

It would need to be random we don't wanna see 15photos from the same person if they bulk uploaded that day

So random photos uploaded by your friends that were uploaded within the last few days

And it could change every time the page is refreshed or maybe it could circulate through them automatically

Reason for not wanting it?

Are you thinking of something along the lines like what Flickr does?

I think it's quite a good idea, like you said, it makes the 'Friends' thing less useless.
