I spend alot of time on ES on my phone and i get sick of zoomimg in and out all the time and other stuff i dont know about u but i believe we should get an app. It doesnt have to be to fancy just basic like have the page titles like Exotic cars, blog, forum etc aling thw bottom so there easy to click on the home page could be 2 or 3 photos wide. I believe doing this will increase thd number of ES users as apps are easy and not everyone always has a conputer..

This idea has been discussed before and most people wanted it however making an app would take a very long time and it costs alot of money (i think) so I don't think we will get an app, sadly.

You basically want them to make 3 apps: one for Android, one for Windows, and one for Apple's stuff (you can't just make 1 app that works for all OS's). This has been discussed before. If any of you users on here with multi-millionaire parents (and I know you're out there now that everyone has posted their home values) want to donate a few thousand bucks each (to make all 3 apps, I'd estimate it'd take about 15-20k or so for a cheap developer [expect lots of bugs]) to the development of these apps, I'm sure the owners of the site would love to listen to you. Otherwise, it ain't gonna happen.

Apps do not take anywheres near that to make. My friends dad works for Microsoft and makes apps for all devices in his free time. Where on earth did you get the idea of 20k from?

I've hired developers to create apps in the past. Granted, they were far more complex than this would be. To create 3 live applications from scratch? With the ability for people to upload photos, view photos, comment on photos, rate photos, use the forum, etc.. yeah you're gonna be approaching my minimum estimate of 15k. Also depends on where you're located as developers are more expensive in places like silicon valley/new york city (where I am).

edit: Don't forget other costs as well. Designing the apps, hosting them, whatever else I might've forgotten.

Yeah $2,500 for a college student mark zuckerberg wannabe(but definitely not) developer who is going to make you an app so half-assed it won't even open.

Just what I thought, some apps cost $0 and some cost a lot. Making an ES app shouldn't be near the top of that range though because its not like there is a lot of graphics and complicated stuff like making a game.
