But if a photo receives 30 likes and 3 dislikes from trolls, who cares? I liked the dislike feature because it stopped people from posting BS spots because they would be overwhelmed with dislikes.

Except it never really stopped anyone. They just complained about the dislikes and kept posting junk.

It's going to be like the Star Rating system they had in the beginning . If Admin creates a way to show who Disliked the photo's then yah i guess we can try it again , but now we know who the dislike troll is , But if it's going to be like the old way then NO

If the image is against the rules or of a bad quality - there is no reason to Dislike it, but there is a reason to report it.

If you don't like the image for some reason - when don't click Like button.
This is a way to show that you actually Dislike it.

So eventually good images receive better rating, because they have more likes.

Both systems are technically the same.
But with Like-only one can't complain that "My image doesn't receive enough likes!".
This is the key advantage of it.

Sounds good, but a lot of people still complain that they don't get enough likes lol.

I think Moe's idea is good. If it showed the usernames of people who like/dislike, the dislikers might stop because they wouldn't want to be exposed.

Really? :)

I wonder how they suppose we should fix the problem. Maybe we should force anyone to
like at least one image a day :) Kidding.

Hahaha. They shall be punished for not complying.

But in all seriousness, no matter what you do, somebody will ALWAYS be unhappy. Can't please everybody. :(
