These are the basics for if you have to upload a car into the "Other" category

"OTHER HANDBUILT ONE-OFF": These are for cars in which there are only ONE OR TWO of the entire world. This includes cars such as the Devon GTX. Please upload them there.


"OTHER KIT CAR": This category is for cars that are either replicas of other cars, or one of those $25,000 supercars you build yourself by reading an instruction booklet. If you have any of those, please upload them there.


"OTHER OTHER": Now this is the category that confuses people, but I am going to explain what is. The "Other Other" category is for exotic cars that don't have a category for them yet. Cars such as Mercedes that are manufactured by //AMG, BMW cars with the //M badge on them. This should be used as a TEMPORARY category. Once the admins make new categories for these cars, ALL USERS SHOULD MOVE THEM TO THEIR PROPER CATEGORIES.


"OTHER UNKNOWN": This is a category for cars that you are uncertain of what they are. This should be used as a TEMPORARY category. Once the car is figured out, YOU SHOULD MOVE THE CAR TO IT'S SPECIFIC CATEGORY.


"OTHER VINTAGE": This category is for classic cars that are older than 1975. Anything from American muscle cars to British classics are welcome here. CLASSICS ARE WELCOMED HERE.

Now you know what all the categories under "Other" are for. I will be patrolling this category often.

I agree with everything of what you say, but i think the Vintage category shouldn't be for cars that are built before 1989. The term 'Vintage' seems quite loose nowadays, but technically, it does mean vehicles that were created between 1900-1930, in what is known as the Vintage Period (Stuff like Rolls-Royce 15/20hp and Model T Fords).

In my opinion, Vintages should be of cars built before 1969 (Maybe even stretch to 1975 or older), which can include Muscle cars. The rest, could be put under 'Other Other'. What do you think?

Nice post....I only have to say that a 1989 Ford Mustang is hopefully not welcome here....and that "other other" is extremely controversial because NOT ALL PEOPLE AGREE ON WHAT IS EXOTIC.

I'm going to say older than 1975, unless the car you spotted is something like a Maserati from the 1980s.

Well, any older car from an exotic marque is exotic in my opinion.

This is not a good idea at all. There are some that are exotic but belong in other other. such as hamann and renntechs and c63 black series. so im sorry but its 7-2 now

I am going to be looking through the "Other" category and making sure people are uploading things in the right categories. When I told eplusplus that I was cleaning out the "Other Other" category, he was extremely happy that I was doing that

The tuned cars will have to stay in the "Other Other" category because they are from tuners. I wish there wasn't a 2000 character limit on posts on the forum
