I’m planning to travel to Russia this year and I’m not sure whether I need a visa or not. I’ve heard that some countries qualify for an e-visa, but I’m not sure if I’m eligible. What’s the best way to check my eligibility for a visa, and what are the official resources where I can find up-to-date information on visa requirements for my nationality?

Most travelers to Russia will need a visa, but some countries are eligible for an e-visa, which is much quicker to process. To find out if you’re eligible for an e-visa, it’s best to check the official Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website for the most accurate and up-to-date information. The standard visa process for most nationalities requires completing an application form, submitting a passport-sized photo, and providing an invitation letter from a Russian host, such as a hotel or business contact. To make sure I had all the information I needed, I found a really thorough article that explains everything you need to know about Russian visa requirements and the e-visa option. It’s really helpful and can guide you through the process—read it https://reclaimdetroit.org.
