I am looking to buy another camera. Right now I have a Nikon D200 ($1850 body only!!) with a 18-70mm zoom lens. I also have a $100 point and shoot Canon Powershot and 2 iPhones. I want something under $400. I prefer Nikon or Canon (best Image quality to me) I was considering the Canon Rebel T3, or another type of SLR. I want something good What do you guys use and any suggestions, thanks!!

Why do you want a 400 dollar camera when you have one that's 2k??
I guess the T3 is an okay camera for the price. That's what I have.

I want something that I can bring with me everyday to town. I don't feel to good about bringing a 2K camera to town with me everyday... :)

get this EOS M, its on sale right now! and its such a great camera, especially with the 22mm f/2

And theres reviews that say the autofocus is slow, but Canon just put out a new firmware update that speeds it up and turns it into an incredible camera

I just got a Nikon D3100 and I am loving it. It's been $449 at Bestbuy for a while, but for $500 I got the 18-55mm and the 55-200mm lens. It's a pretty good deal.

EOS M is a horrible camera. The auto focus does not work well and I would stay away from it for now.

I also use that, but since I got it over a year and a half ago I upgraded to the 18-200 lens which is flawless.

The Nikon d3100 has 14.2mp, that's pretty good. It comes with a 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Zoom-Nikkor VR lens. I don't do far away shots much though, so I would not need the 55-200mm. Thanks!
