I go to junkyards all the time. Cause its fun. And i take the logos off of the cars, legally. Anybody else do this, or have some logos? Post pics if you do!
My "collection":

The red pieces in the middle have a story~
They are pieces of a Ferrari 328GTS. The car that these came from belonged to my dad's childhood friend's dad. He was a plastic surgeon, still is I think. So when he first bought the car, he brought it down to Watkins Glen to test it out and give my dad a ride in it. Unfortunately, the lap before he would have stopped to pick up my dad, the ABS failed and the car smashed into the wall at about 120mph. It was totaled. So they trucked it back to my dad's friend's house, and put it in the garage. My dad still being there, he got to take a few pieces off the car. He went right for the gear lever, but his friend's dad said he wanted to keep everything from the interior. So my dad took these pieces :)
Then his friends dad bought another 328GTS because he could :)

I try to collect them but only have one at the moment. It's a hood ornament off a 70's Cadillac that i got at an antique shop. I actually made a clasp for it so i can wear it on my silver chain. It's now a massive pendant.

A chain? A Spirit of Ecstasy is: a) too big for that b) too refined for one to do such a tacky thing with it.

Um... There's no such thing as a pendant that's too big. Have you not seen Flavor Flav and Gucci Mane?

Yes there is. Especially when it involves something as graceful as the Spirit of Ecstasy. I also tend not to look at either of them.

I think it would look cool to have the Spirit Of Ecstasy hanging from your neck though. What it it's a replica ornament?
