Lamborghini's website is significantly less informative then Audi, othrwise, I would have more irrelevant bits about the Huracan.

From my understanding, all it is is clever badge-engineering. These cars are exactly the same thing. They just look different. I prefer the looks of the Huracan, Spyder to be specific.

That's exactly what I would have said. The R8 V10+ is an amazing car, but I would take the Huracan.

At the end of the day, I'd rather say I drive a Lamborghini than an Audi.

The first-generation R8 V10 with a gated manual is better than both of them.

^ Eh I think I'd have more fun with a manual Superleggera :P

However, I read somewhere that the R8 has a 1"shorter overall length, while maintaining about 1" longer wheelbase, and has a bit more interior space. $50,000 is a lot to pay for a sleeker look.

When cars start to get that expensive, 50k is kind of chump change.

50k is a pretty notable amount when it's 20-25% of the value of the car. If you're taking money into account, then the Audi makes alot more sense, its basically the same thing for far cheaper, and it wouldn't shock me if the Audi is more reliable. That said, the Lamborghini is a smidge faster, you get the brand a looks, and my guess is it has more of that "feel," although I've never experienced either of them.

Another thing though. Honestly, where are you closer too? An Audi dealership, or Lamborghini dealership? (Service centers, to be precise)

True. San Antonio and Austin don't have Lamborghini dealers. You'd have to drive 200 miles to Houston.

For me, Audi has 2 dealers in the Tampa Bay area, one on the same road as Lamborghini's in Sarasota, the other at Reeve's Import Motorcars in North Tampa, which is actually the closest supercar dealer to the Brandon area, if you don't count Alfa Romeo. So for me, about $50k cheaper, with a much shorter driving time to buy it, plus being very reliable, I'd have to go with the Audi on this one.
