What's your point? He missed nearly the entire 2013 season and is going to turn 40 next season. I'd take my team's shortstop over Jeter right now.

Yall bitches hatin on the yankees because they have more WS wins than any other team. And because they have the big name players. Look at it this way I will relate this to cars. The Yankees are people who drive Ferraris and lambos and other exotics. All the other teams are stuck plain old BMWs and Audis. People hate on the yankees for their money... BUt yet you guys don't hate on the Ferrari owners?? and just a question how many of you currently play baseball?

That's just dumb. I'll make your comparison accurate: the Yankees are the rich kids who inherit money and buy Lamborghinis. All other teams are the people that have to work for their money and earn their exotics, or don't end up saving enough for them.
I played in high school and got recruited for D2 and D3 but I chose to go to a good school instead of a mediocre one just for baseball.
