My stepdad: 2013 Vauxhall Astra Estate
My Granddad owned a Lotus Carlton when I last saw him (when I was 7) so not sure on his situation now.
Aunt: 2005 Vauxhall Astra and Peugeot 206
Dad: Nissan Pulsar GTI-R (Last time I saw him, 2000 that is),(Owned various modified vehicles when I was young including a 300bhp Ford Orion)
Me: Have owned a Peugeot 406 (When I was 14, drove it in fields till the head gasket blew and took it apart for spares).

I drive a 2005 vauxhall astra sxi, but in October when my finance contact ends I am trading in the astra for a mazda mx5 mk1

True! But any other car you buy could be faulty! Hehe. Really love the look of a mk1 mx5, but I guess if you shop around and find one with a very careful last owner it should be quite reliable!
