If you post a great photo with a decent exotic who cares? Who cares how many likes and comments it gets? I upload cars to share and for people to see my pictures.

if the photo goes unseen whats the point?

not everyone uploads decent shots sometimes they upload bad shots

comments are far better than likes, alot of the photos on the unfeatured page get none, and thats because the page gets flooded with non exotics, alot of low end common exotics and often bad shots

if people only uploaded there best shots and only uploaded exotics everyone should get more comments on there photos

i did too but not many others did for some reason

so i thought we should better the upload quality and improve the cars that are being uploaded

website doesnt have to change to in anyway that way, people just need to think about what there uploading

i wish the admins were strict with the uploads =/

I honestly think the site needs more admins...

It needs active moderators who can unapproved or delete photos
And moved photos to correct sections

Its not just the unfeatured cars that don't get comments featured don't either, the 911 gt3 I posted didn't get any comments on it.

sometimes it cant be helped
but its worse for unfeatured cars because they get uploaded far more often in larger quantities

Honestly, I'd rather see a spot like this: http://www.exoticspotter.com/tesla-model-s-king-of-prussia-pennsylvania-134909 than this: http://www.exoticspotter.com/ferrari-f12-monte-carlo-monaco-133119 on ES. (Not trying to call either of these users out they're just the first examples I stumbled upon, both are very cool spots). While the second photo is obviously a better photo it might as well be a dealer shot, its just as good quality and its at a location that is almost definitely going to have exotics all over the place. Also it seems to me the people that are against average pictures of things like 911s have hundreds of spots and most of you live in larger cities with wealthier neighborhoods. If you don't want to post a picture of a 911s thats fine but some of us get excited when we get a shot of one because we're lucky to see that, and want to share it with others. As far as likes go, while a Veryon is going to get a bunch of likes simply because of what it is, my most liked spot is a Quattroporte, and I have equal quality shots of a 458 just for an example, the likes depend allot more on when you post it and how many people are online at the time, not what kind of car it is. Finally, you people act as though a million average quality shots of Lotus are posted daily. At most it takes me 5 minutes to go through a day of posts.

PS. Just thought I'd point out my subscription idea would fix all of this, though it might need some tweaks.

I am in the same boat (sort of). I don't see a ton of exotics, so I naturally get pretty excited when I see something. However, if my shots are not good quality, I will not post them.

What annoys me is that basically all of the cars I see (whether it be a Bentley, Aston, Rolls Royce, Audi R8) are not featured, so I don't really get much reaction.

Maybe the "All" tab should be the default tab instead of the "Featured" tab?
