I live in Louisville, Kentucky -- a not so big city in the eastern United States. I don't see many features cars whatsoever, yet I don't complain. I understand that my area isn't amazing for spotting so I accept it.
People who live in richer areas are lucky with the amount of cars that see. I have never once complained on ES saying that it isn't fair that other people see more cars than I do so its not fair that they get featured and I don't, because I don't think that way. It would be EXTREMELY unfair to eliminate the features cars.
It will NEVER happen, so please drop this idea.
I agree. featured section should be based off quality and quantity though.

A compromise could be that people can only upload a certain amount of pictures a day. It seems like every time I upload a picture, it gets buried by somebody who uploads 10+ pictures at a time. I uploaded a ZR1 today and it was barely seen because ten minutes after I posted it, it was buried.

i understand the some people are going to have amazing spots all the time.... just the way it is
but why does that mean nothing can change to help the little guys out?
why shouldnt i want the website to change to help us out
ive suggested merging the two sections and limiting the uploads - that why everyone wins but that got shot down
this idea about featuring a few more lower end exotics - shot down
the only idea that wasnt shot down was making the unfeatured page the home page and members having to click to see the featured page...

Then the featured page wouldn't be featured if you had the unfeatured page be the homepage. It hurts the featured spots.

The fact is that everyone comes on this site to see amazing cars from around the world on the street, not a bunch of Bentleys that someone saw in an area with no cars.

theres a good example on the main page as to why we need upload limits
hes got 3 full rows on featured and it sucks even more for the unfeatured page where its 4 rows
