Yeah, that was too bad about the almost no hitter.

I have such great memories from the minor league Tigers team in my city. Sadly they left three years ago. They still had one year left on their contract but they left! I always used to run after the foul balls and home runs.
I remember the last season, in the bottom of the ninth, we were tied with the other team. We loaded the bases, there were two outs and two strikes. The next pitch our catcher hit it, and I could tell it was going far. I got out of my seat, and as soon as it went over the fence, I ran as fast as I could to go find it. There were usually a couple other kids that chased the ball, so I was running like crazy. I saw it from 50 feet away and got to it before anyone else! I got a walk off grand slam ball!!!

I wouldn't exactly call them "incredible." Dickey had one excellent year, Buerhle is really just a guy to stabilize the rotation and not a standout, and Reyes hasn't led his teams anywhere, despite his good numbers.

agreed, not a great choice of words. They're all pretty good. And I forgot Edwin Encarnacion, he had a great season last year and hit over 40 homers.

I'm a Nationals fan and they are without a doubt the best team in baseball. They are considerably better than the Angels.

I am rooting for the Nats too, because I'm from DC. I also root for them because a few years ago they were the worst team in the whole league, but now they have turned things around.
