I am really considering buying a Apple MacBook Pro 13.3". I would love to start editing my shots of cars and make them look really nice. It is an investment. There is an Apple store at the college here, adn they are selling it for $1,000 ($999.99!)That is a good deal compared to Apple's website. Pros and cons and any ideas would help. Thank you!

Ok, I have dell,
Advantages: Amazing design and features.
Disadvantages: All this is on the proviso that it is all set up and works.

-If you are looking for a PC, never buy a Dell or HP, they are known to have problems.
-Windows 8 is a little quirky and takes a little while to get used to, but it is a lot easier with a touch screen laptop.
- It is obviously your preference, but I find that working on a computer smaller than 14 inches is just annoying. (no numerical pad, keys are squished together, and small screen)

I haven't really had any problems with mine that aren't my own. The only issues I have is a stable got shoved in the speaker by an a***ole at school, and I crashed the hard drive. When that happened, Dell came out with a brand new hard drive and repairman to my house within four days of me contacting them and it was fixed.

It's an XPS laptop, in case you're wondering.

I agree that Mac is the best built and doesnt get viruses but i absolutely DESPISE Mac OSX. I know so much about windows and i could fix any problem i run in to. With a mac i would be stumped and i wouldnt know how to fix it. Mac is better built but im used to windows.

DAMN YOU MAC FANBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Mac will function just like a PC. So choose what OS you would like. But for college, a Macbook is better imo.
