This may have been suggested before but I think in order to fix the problem of people complaining ES should add a subscriptions feature. You could allow people to subscribe to certain cars. That way people who want to see cars, like, for example a 911, can subscribe to the car and all spots of it will show up in their feed. While people who only come to this site to see Ferraris and Bugattis can simply subscribe to them and won't have to worry about there feed getting "flooded" with lower end exotics. There would still be a public feed if you feel like looking at everything but this way it would solve the problem of some people getting annoyed about all the M5s, which is understandable, while also allowing people who like to see M5s the ability to post and look through other's spots of them.

I feel like some really good photos/spots may not get the recognition they deserve. I do like the part about subscribing to all cars except the lower end cars though.

I agree. I'd like to see a stunning photo of an R8 over a bad picture of a 458. It could be a decent idea with some fine tuning and brainstorming, but it probably isn't necessary yet.

What if the featured section was turned into a section for GOOD spots rather than the higher end cars. That way everyone could see a really cool shot no matter what car it was.

But how would you regulate it?

It doesn't sound like something that would greatly improve the site, it's just a little trinket for the site, so I don't see why it needs to be done right this moment.

There are a couple of ways, a group of very loyal users could be selected to go through the spots daily and feature the really good ones. Or it could be done by likes and favorites, kind've like the highest rated section is now, that way a good spot of a 458 would still have priority over a Lotus, assuming more people subscribe to the 458 over the Lotus which is highly probable.

I don't understand how this one would work. To get the like and favorites in the first place, many people would have to see it. And for many people to see it, it has to be on the featured page.


Unless you're saying that this is how it would be if we had the whole 'subscribe to certain cars' thing going, than it does make sense haha
