Why do people say Honda NSX? I know that Honda owns Acura, but the NSX wears the Acura badge.

Actually there is a Honda NSX. the main differences are the badge as well as the Honda NSX has a different hood hinge to follow the pedestrian safety rules in Japan and Europe. another main difference is Acura NSX is left hand drive which is why it is the only one you see in North America. In Europe the NSX is rarer than it is here. Also the ones sold in Japan make a annoying beeping sound when in reverse this is because of another safety regulation. The first generation Honda and Acura NSX are also very similar the were both made in the same factory from 1990 to 2004.

Newer generation NSX's wear the Acura badge. Older ones wear the Honda badge. Examples being Honda NSX Type R GT from 2005 (5 made)

And I actually saw the Honda NSX again yesterday and Saturday.
I also saw a Ferrari 308 but nothing else unfortunately

The NSX is sold as an Acura in the US, and a Honda in other markets. Even the new NSX is badged as a Honda in Europe.
